Sacred Waters of Chalice Well Glastonbury, England

Chalice Well in Glastonbury England is considered by some to be one of the original (pre-Christian) underground meditation/communication chambers (as mentioned by "Bashar" in his video on crystal skulls). The spiritual leaders (the “shamans’ or “priests”) of those pre-Christian, and very early Christian cultures, would lower themselves into the 5 sided chamber and go into a deep meditative state. This would be done at specific astrological times. Using the chamber in this way would amplify their communications with other “priests” and “shamans” around the world - as well as spirit guides, ancestors, and the angelic realms. There are also supporting legends that the wizard Merlin (who lived and practiced in Glastonbury) was a survivor of the Atlantian Empire.

Could the legends of the “Sacred Chalice” or “Holy Grail” hidden in Glastonbury - in Chalice Well - actually refer to an ancient crystal skull that was kept in that sub-terranian chamber?

Chalice Well is one of Britain’s most ancient holy wells, nestling in the Valley of Avalon between the famous Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Hill. For over two thousand years it has been a place of documented pilgrimage where people have gathered to drink the waters and find peace, healing and inspiration. The Chalice Well, also known as the Red Spring, is situated at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, in the town of Glastonbury in the county of Somerset, England, UK.

The image above is the design that graces the lid of Chalice Well. It was designed in the 1800’s by archaeologist Bligh Bond, who received visions of this design as he was working on the grounds. It depicts the Vesica Pisces, a symbol of the divine feminine, coupled with the masculine form of Excalibur, the sword of the legendary King Arthur, who is believed to be buried at Glastonbury on the Abbey grounds.

The wellspring at Glastonbury is considered to be one of England’s most Holy sites. The well itself dates back beyond 2,000 years, and was sacred to the ancient indigenous Pagans and later the new Christians who eventually built an abbey near the site of the well. Today, Chalice Well is a place of pilgrimage for all faiths, many of whom believe the red, iron rich water has healing and miraculous properties. The vesica Pisces theme is repeated in the shape of the pool at the base of the hill, where the water from the spring flows.
